The Matrix Runs on Windows

Take the red pill. Get the blue screen. That possibly explains my laptops erratic behaviour; recreational drug use.

I suspect that if the real Martix wasn't made on Macs this would be eerily similar to the first draft of the script.

The SFX and production are excellent on this, considering it is only a comedy short, as well as the script and performances so make sure you check out the other Geek humour shorts like Web Side Story.

Goodbye little scary robot show.

With Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles officially canceled and any hope of a Jericho-style fan resurrection unlikely, it seemed that no joy could now come from the burial of this great show. Until, that was, I read the blackly humorous rant of show creator and producer Josh Friedman:

Everyone says having your show cancelled is like a death but I've been dead before and at least when you're dead you don't get thrown off the Warner Bros. lot for haunting your old parking space ... Losing your show is more like a surprise divorce where you get served papers in the morning and your (ex)wife is fucking Human Target by three in the afternoon using the same time slot your child was conceived in and also where she did that one thing that one time on your birthday.

A bitter rant from the man responsible for the show's cancellation or the honest outpouring of a man who's dream has prematurely ended?

There were definite signs of something when Josh answered a network question in this interview two months earlier, so maybe he is burning his bridges. Which is a shame as it might hinder his next project.

A social occasion.

Having been to several LARP events, we play traditional fantasy with Curious Pastimes rather than the Civil War re-enactments here, and spent more time in the inn than in character I feel a real camaraderie with Gavin's mates.

Now if you excuse me, I feel the need for mead...
